8 Simple Beauty Hacks

I hope your week is going wonderfully! Please don’t forget to participate in The Kindness Campaign. It begins July 16th!

Just a disclaimer, to every single person – woman, man, daughter, mother, son, teenager. . . you are amazing and there is no need to use these beauty hacks, and no need to feel like you have to focus on how you look or wear makeup or anything. You do you.

In my opinion, beauty hacks, tips, and tricks are used only to enhance our natural beauty, and potentially boost our confidence if we need to.

None of the pictures in this post are my own.

With that, let’s get into the hacks! 😀 You might want to write these down, they’re that good.

    1. Use Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly to Lengthen Your Lashes. (I recommend Vaseline only because that is the brand I used to lengthen my lashes.)
        1. Put a little Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly onto your finger, and brush it onto your upper and lower lashes. I saw results within two months of using the Vaseline on my lashes 2-3 times a week.

    2. Exfoliate Your Legs After You Shave Them
      1. Now I know that some people choose not to shave their legs, and that is absolutely fine. However, for those that do, I found that using an exfoliator after shaving minimizes the bumps from razor burn and makes them feel so much smoother.
      2. I normally use homemade sugar scrubs, but if I don’t do that, I use St. Ives products.
    3. Use Cotton Rounds With an Exfoliating Side When Cleansing Your Face
        1. As some of you know, I always use micellar water, as it’s a huge part of my daily skincare routine. (Read about it here.) When I use the micellar water, I put it on a cleansing cotton pad. The ones I use, Swisspers, have a soft side, and an exfoliating side. While the exfoliating side is gentle, it really exfoliates my face well.

    4. Always Dab Your Face With a Towel When Drying Your Face – NEVER Wipe
      1. Dabbing your face after you cleanse it instead of wiping it locks in more moisture, giving your skin a dewier look. It also prevents premature wrinkling, as you’re not pulling down on your skin like you are when you wipe it.
    5. Use a Lemon Based Scrub or Product to Lighten Your Lips
      1. Sometimes, the coloring of one’s lips is really dark, and you’d prefer a lighter color. I’ve found that when I used a lemon based sugar lip scrub (make sure that it’s real lemon juice), my lips got a little bit lighter. I don’t recommend using the scrub every day though.
    6. Use Coconut Oil as an All Natural Lip Moisturizer
      1. Right now, I use a mixture of coconut oil and honey on my lips. It seals in moisture, and really soothes my lips. Be sure to do a patch test though, because some people are allergic to coconut. Image result for coconuts
    7. Use Petroleum Jelly Where You Want Your Perfume
      1. Apply a small amount of Petroleum Jelly where you plan to spray your perfume, as it will make the scent last longer. Image result for perfume
    8. You Can Use Beet Juice When Making a Lip Stain
      1. Say goodbye to melting crayons or anything else you use at home to make a DIY lip stain. I use beet juice whenever I want to make a lip stain myself. And what’s great about the beet juice is that the beet smell isn’t powerful at all, so you don’t smell beets on your lips all day.

What did you think of these beauty hacks? I’ve used all of these before. I would never recommend something to you that I didn’t think would help you in some way. ❤ Do you have any other beauty hacks? Leave them below in the comments!

QOTD – Do you want longer posts?

This post contains some affiliate links. All opinions are my own, and I’ve only linked what I feel would be something that you should know about/what would help you. Purchasing something under an affiliate link means I get a small commission so I can keep giving you quality posts and products.
I am not responsible for any results, injuries, reactions, illnesses, etc. that are the result of any of these hacks. These hacks are merely suggestions and all results are of your own doing/actions.

♥ Thank you! ♥
